Desicive Plays
Game 1:
Orlando Hernandez clearly proved he still had what it takes to be a great pitcher. He brought the Braves offense to a standstill by only allowing 1 run. On the other hand, the Braves defense was not top notch. They gave the Yankees an opportunity to put 4 runs on the board and secure game 1.
Game 2:
The Braves lack of hits lost them this one. They got a total of 2 hits in the entire game. Also many errors in the Braves infield let the Yankees score 7 runs and clutch game 2.
Game 3:
Towards the beginning of this game the Braves were pummeling the Yankees by getting a 5 to 1 lead early on. But since they were so far ahead they let up a little and the Yankees took the opportunity to gain a lead of 6 to 5 and beat the Braves once more in Game 3.
Game 4:
Roger Clemens, the Yankees pitcher, let the Yankees secure the last game in this series. Also, once again the Braves defense was not top notch and they gave away a World Series championship was more.
